Creating users

So far we have created only one account. By logging into QruiseOS with this newly-created user, they have become the tenant administrator. However, in most use cases there will be multiple people using a single tenant. For security reasons, it's strongly advised that each user has their own account. This ensures security and allows for a fine-grained access control and traceability, as well as ensuring data boundaries. This article will show you how to create additional user accounts and manage their access permissions.

Create regular user accounts

As described in the Creating an admin user article, user accounts are created in Keycloak. The procedure for adding users is thus essentially the same as for creating the tenant admin user, so we refer readers to check out the instructions in that section.

Logging into QruiseOS as a non-admin user

The users you created in the previous section can now log into the QruiseOS dashboard. Unlike to the first user to log into QruiseOS, they will not be granted any special rights. On the contrary, they will have no access rights instead. You will have to assign them manually as described in the next article.
